248 새색시가 만삭인 몸으로 동네삼촌들과 오자교를 걸어서 넘었건만 ... 지금도 해마다 음력 4월 그믐날 자정이 되면 칠흑같은 어둠속에 대여섯씩 무리지어 검은 형체들이 돌아다닌다. 걸어서 오자교를 넘었건만 끝내 길에서 죽어간 그들의 제사를 지내고 쓸쓸이 돌아서는 유족들인 것이다. 세월이 흐른 지금 바람에 흔들리는 대나무만이 빈 집터를 지키고 있다. ※앞쪽으로는 <알곳> 이라는 곶자왈로 4•3 당시 피난처럼 이용되었고 뒤쪽으로는 <오소록이내>로 오자교를 지나 월령리 바다로 이어진다. [영문] The village’s name means a place where black falcons live ( Sorogi = Jeju language referring to a falcon). A 19-year old newlywed bride lived in this area and walked the Ojagyo Bridge with the villagers on the 1st day of May in 1948 when the Jeju April 3 Incident occurred. Unfortunately, they died at the end of this path. Even today, there are groups of ripple walking through the bridge in the middle of the dark night (at midnight) on the last day of April. They are the bereaved relatives of the deceased Ed that perform ancestral rites. Over the years, only the bamboo shaking in the wind remained guarding the empty house site. ※The front part is Gotjawal names <Algot> which was used as a refuge during the Jeju April 3 Incident and the back is <Osoroginae> connected to the sea of Wollyeong-ri, passing through Ojagyo Bridge.
